My absolute favorite fall dessert. So yummy, I made this last night for my sister and brother in law.
PUMPKIN CRISP
1 lg. can pumpkin or 3 c.
1 lg. can evaporated milk
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
3 eggs
1 box yellow cake mix
1 c. nuts, chopped
2 sticks butter, melted
1 lg. can evaporated milk
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
3 eggs
1 box yellow cake mix
1 c. nuts, chopped
2 sticks butter, melted
Mix together pumpkin, milk, sugar, cinnamon and eggs in a large bowl (add clove or nutmeg if you like). Pour into a pan. Pour dry cake mix over top of mix. Sprinkle nuts over mix evenly. Carefully pour melted butter over top of cake mix, distributing evenly. Bake at 350 degrees for 50-60 minutes.
I like to serve this with whip cream made from my whipper (heavy whipping cream and a little honey).
